THE STAGES OF MAKING YOUR MADE-TO-MEASURE SHIRTS

1- Receiving and checking your order

Our customer service team receives your order as soon as you complete it on our website.

We carry out an initial check to make sure all the details of your order are valid, including your style options, measurements and delivery address.

2- Checking your measurements and creating your pattern

Our customer service team reviews your measurements to check that they are consistent. At this stage, we may contact you to double-check certain measurements or confirm any adjustments you have requested.

Our team then creates the pattern for your shirts using these measurements and your chosen style options, with the help of Gerber pattern-making tools. If you are a new customer, this stage usually takes longer because we need to create a new pattern without referring to previous orders.

3- Cutting and preparation

Once your pattern is ready, we prepare your shirt fabric and cut out the individual pieces. Each cut piece is then labelled.

4- Making your shirt

Making your shirts involves a series of specific tasks carried out by specialist seamstresses: making the collar and cuffs, assembling the different parts of the shirt (sleeves, collar, back yoke and more), sewing the buttonholes and attaching the buttons. In total, more than 30 operations are needed to assemble your shirt completely.

5- Embroidery

While your shirt is being assembled, a seamstress embroiders your initials in your chosen position, colour and style.

6- Quality control

Before the final pressing and folding, we carry out a full check to make sure your shirt matches your order: collar type and softness, chosen cuffs, thread colours, monogram and contrasting fabric. Every detail is carefully inspected.

7- Pressing and folding

Your shirt is pressed at high pressure to smooth the fibres before it is folded.

8- Packing and dispatch

All the shirts in your order are packed in suitably sized packaging, and a delivery note is generated using the delivery details in your customer account. As soon as the parcel is handed over to the sorting centre, you receive an email notification with the tracking number.

These stages take a total of 3 to 5 working days, depending on the checks required.
